For a program that typically has very low numbers, it's great to see that Keyport has twelve wrestlers with varsity experience returning. There are also some newcomers that are ready to step into the lineup, a good sign that the Raiders will have a full varsity lineup, or very close to it, which isn't always a guarantee for the Group 1 program.
While the records of the returners may not be all that impressive, most of them were getting their first taste of varsity action in 2011. With their schedule featuring many programs in similar size, and some of their usual opponents undergoing some rebuilding, the potential is there for the win totals to increase in 2012 for both the individuals and the team.
Wrestler To Watch - (Jr) Steve Prevost
One of four Prevosts in the lineup, Steve is the team's leading returning wins leader. With the thinning out of the talent pool with the extra upper weight class, it may open the door for Prevost to be in the mix for a trip to the Regions.

For a program that typically has very low numbers, it's great to see that Keyport has twelve wrestlers with varsity experience returning. There are also some newcomers that are ready to step into the lineup, a good sign that the Raiders will have a full varsity lineup, or very close to it, which isn't always a guarantee for the Group 1 program.
While the records of the returners may not be all that impressive, most of them were getting their first taste of varsity action in 2011. With their schedule featuring many programs in similar size, and some of their usual opponents undergoing some rebuilding, the potential is there for the win totals to increase in 2012 for both the individuals and the team.
Wrestler To Watch - (Jr) Steve Prevost
One of four Prevosts in the lineup, Steve is the team's leading returning wins leader. With the thinning out of the talent pool with the extra upper weight class, it may open the door for Prevost to be in the mix for a trip to the Regions.
